Melofin includes ALAC (Apple Lossless) entropy and predictor routines derived from Audiocogs’ Apache-licensed port of Apple’s decoder.

The included modules have been adapted for ES modules and a corrected typed-array copy. Melofin adds a bounded packet parser, MP4 sample index and playback adapter. No Aurora runtime or GPL FAAD2/AAC decoder is included.
WavPack
WavPack uses the packaged reference-library WebAssembly binary from audiojs’ decoder, with an independent Melofin host and bounded block reader. Copyright © 2026 audiojs; reference WavPack copyright © 1998–2025 David Bryant. Both components use BSD 3-Clause terms.
The binary also includes toolchain runtime portions: Copyright 2018 The Emscripten Authors and the contributors identified by the complete notices below. Their inclusion does not assert an exact compiler version.
WMA decoder component
The prepared WMA component uses FFmpeg 7.1.5 and Melofin’s bounded C bridge under LGPL 2.1-or-later. Individual FFmpeg copyrights are retained in the complete corresponding source included with Melofin’s source archive. Player support remains subject to the documented format limits.
